- Desktop (Chrome / Edge): look for the install icon in the address bar, or the app menu → Install PlanSync.
- iPhone / iPad (Safari): Share → Add to Home Screen, then open from the icon.
- Android (Chrome): menu → Install app or Add to Home screen.
If the install button doesn’t appear here, your browser may have already installed the app — use your browser’s menu instead.

Sign in
Open PlanSync from your new shortcut and sign in to your workspace. You need an account before you can enable push alerts.

Turn on notifications
Go to Account (profile menu) → Alerts on this device and switch them on. When your browser asks, choose Allow so we can reach you with RFIs, issues, and other updates when you're not in the app.
- Chrome / Edge: if you blocked alerts earlier, use the lock or site icon in the address bar → Site settings → Notifications → Allow.
- Safari (iOS): add PlanSync to the Home Screen first, then check iOS Settings → Notifications (or Apps) for PlanSync.
PWA availability depends on your browser. The free viewer works in the tab without installing. Notifications need a signed-in workspace and a browser that supports web push.

Is Free really free forever?
Yes. The local PDF viewer is free forever. No hidden limits, no expiry, no credit card.
Where are my files stored on Free?
Free files never leave your browser. Everything stays on your device locally. We never see or upload your PDFs.
Where are Pro files stored?
Pro files are stored securely on AWS S3 in your account. Only your team can access them. All transfers are encrypted.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your billing settings. No questions asked, no lock-in.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your billing period. Export your data anytime before cancelling.
How does the 14-day trial work?
Full Pro access for 14 days, no credit card needed. Upgrade anytime during or after the trial.
Can I upgrade from Free to Pro?
Yes. Your local markups and measurements migrate automatically to the cloud when you upgrade.
Do you support DWG/CAD files?
Currently PDF only. DXF/DWG support is on our roadmap and coming soon.
