FAQ
Common questions
- Is my PDF uploaded to the cloud?
- No. The file stays in your browser. Nothing is sent to this app's servers for viewing or markup.
- Where are markups stored?
- In this browser's local storage, keyed to the file name and page count. You can clear them from the viewer (Document → Clear) or from Settings.
- What can I export?
- PDF with markups (rasterized), PNG of the current page, markup JSON, measurement CSV from the right panel, and a full session JSON backup from Document.
- Does it work offline?
- After the app loads, you can work without a network; the PDF is already in memory. You need a connection to load the initial app shell.
- Supported PDFs?
- Standard vector PDFs work best. Very large or heavily protected files may need to be re-saved from your CAD or PDF tool.
